Walking with the Excluded

We commit ourselves to walk with the victims of abuse of power, abuse of conscience and sexual abuse; with the outcasts of this world; with all those whom the biblical tradition knows as the poor of the earth.

Reflect and Act: Is building a culture of encounter with those on the margins of society part of your spiritual life? Learn about a Jesuit-sponsored social justice ministry or any other community agency that stirs your heart and spend part of one day a month serving with them.

Journeying with Youth

We believe our ministries can make an important contribution to making spaces that are open to young people in society and the Church. Such spaces should help young people discern the path by which they can achieve happiness by contributing to the well-being of all humankind.

Reflect and Act: If our Church were 10 times bolder in our welcoming of youth and young adults, what would be different? What’s one concrete way you could welcome and empower young people in your faith community? If you’re a young person yourself, what can you offer the faith community?
