Conference Development Office (CDO) of Jesuit Conference of India, in partnership with Karnataka Province, distributed educational tabs to students from vulnerable families in Harihar, Karnataka. The distribution of educational tabs took place at St. Aloysius College, Harihar on 9 May 2022.
41 students, including girls, from Harihar were provided with educational tabs to support in their studies. Shri. B V Harish, ex MLA, Harihar, Fr. Eric Mathias, Superior, Mr. Baptist Sunny Gudinho, Principal, St. Aloysius College, Fr. Praveen Kiran Martis, Finance Officer and Vice Principals of the college Mrs. Pushpalatha Urs and Mr. Mousin Ull. Mr. Jefferson Joel V, Officer-Programme Partnership and Resource Mobilisation, JCI-CDO, South Zone Office, Bengaluru, represented CDO at the programme. The educational tabs for distribution were provided by the United Way India. Since there is an increasing demand for additional educational tabs from students in the locality, CDO programme team is working towards mobilising additional support under CSR to provide more such tabs.
